About
We are a group of friends that make a meal and bring emergency needs to a park known for having a lot of people experiencing homelessness (Freimann Square). We serve at the same time every two weeks (Every other Tuesday 7pm). The goal is to meet the direct emergency needs of the street homeless. Regardless of their lifestyle everyone deserves a meal, a friend, warm clothes and for their rights to be respected without being asked for something in return. Volunteers are welcome to get involved as much as they feel comfortable doing so. You're welcome to help serve the meal or just come to be good company and talk with the people we serve. If you would like to help provide food, shoot us an email or FB message. We are open to any ideas our volunteers have about donation drives and community partnerships.
