About

The Diaper Bank of the Ozarks is seeking an individual or small group to carry out research across roughly 60 counties in the poverty-stricken rural counties of the Ozarks.  Statistics show that "Diaper Need" is experienced by 1 in 3 families.  Our goal is to research each county and ascertain their poverty levels, population, numbers of children under 5, and therefore determine how many babies are in need of diapers.  We will expand this research to learn what resources are available to serve babies in each county, do they currently distribute diapers, or would they be interested in distributing diapers.  This research will allow us to map both the need and the current resources.  Once mapped we will know where services are lacking or are insufficient to decrease diaper need.
The Diaper Bank of the Ozarks currently reaches into 59 counties and distributes diapers through 100 partner agencies.
